Dallas Bulls 46, Amarillo Warbirds 29
April 4, 2026 — Fair Park, Dallas, TX
The Dallas Bulls rode a fast start, a defensive touchdown, and a dominant ground performance from running back Dijon Richard to secure a 46–29 victory over the Amarillo Warbirds on Saturday night at Fair Park.
Dallas opened the game with a momentum‑shifting defensive play, as defensive back Michael Cotton jumped a route and returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown on Amarillo’s opening drive. The early score put the Bulls ahead 8–0 and set the tone for a night in which Dallas controlled the game’s biggest moments.
“Demry Croft pass intercepted by Michael Cotton… return 35 yards to the AMA0, TOUCHDOWN.”
Amarillo responded with a 22‑yard field goal from Addison McCauley, but the Bulls quickly answered. Quarterback Samuel Seward engineered a 42‑yard scoring drive capped by his own 2‑yard touchdown run, extending the lead to 16–3. Seward finished with 99 passing yards and a rushing score.
Warbirds quarterback Demry Croft kept Amarillo competitive with a gritty dual‑threat performance, accounting for all four of the team’s touchdowns — three on the ground and one through the air. His 27‑yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter pulled Amarillo within 22–15 and briefly shifted momentum.
“Demry Croft rush for 27 yards to the DAL0, TOUCHDOWN.”
But Dallas answered immediately. Seward connected with LaDon Hudson on a 23‑yard touchdown strike to push the lead back to two possessions late in the third quarter.
From there, Dijon Richard took over. The Bulls’ running back delivered three second‑half rushing touchdowns, including a 12‑yard burst with 2:40 remaining and a 5‑yard score in the final minute to seal the win. Richard finished with 84 all‑purpose yards and three touchdowns, powering a Dallas offense that averaged 6.6 yards per play.
Defensively, Dallas held Amarillo to just 1-of-7 on third down and produced the game’s only turnover — the Cotton pick‑six that proved decisive.
Despite controlling time of possession (32:19) and outgaining Dallas in plays run, Amarillo struggled in key moments, failing on multiple red‑zone and fourth‑down opportunities.
With the win, the Bulls improve their standing in the National Arena League and continue to build momentum behind a balanced offensive attack and opportunistic defense.
